Compassion hardly seems to be the priority. Professional work average to good. Lack of Spiritual Direction. No presence of the Blessed Sacrament Even though it is a Roman Catholic Hospital! Cafeteria surely can be improved.
Worst hospital ever. Dr. Melendez, the worst doctor ever, not only broke my water to soon but never told me anything about it and I had to get a c-section. I never approved for her to break my water. My labor was delayed because I was only 5cm when the doctor broke my water and I was practically on the epidural for 12 hours and no pitocin to accelerate my contractions until the last hour they decided I needed a c-section. My daughter was in head down position and a c-section wasn’t needed until the doctor decided to break my water to soon. I had to request for another doctor to do the c-section procedure because Dr. Melendez did malpractice on me. As my baby was born, she had a small cut on her head which was caused by the doctor breaking my water, my daughter would cry each time the cut was accidentally touched. The hospital says they are baby friendly, but they are not. The nurses were pressuring me to give formula to my daughter as I had an argument with her that I would 100% breastfeed. There was no need to give my daughter formula, since she was full term. I was so happy when My baby and I could finally leave home.
Noah H. Was amazing nice friendly he took great care of my mom. Most nurses would of shaved her head to see where the wound was but not Noah he took his time wetting her hair without shaving her head so she didn’t have to walk around with a bald spot Thank you. Noah H. And Scripps Mercy for having great people working for you that care.
My father got admitted here in obviously short notice emergency. The front staff were very nice obviously a wait time. The back staff were extremely nice and really sounded like they wanted my dad better. For me it is extremely important for the nurses to treat everyone like how they would want to be treated. Although we have to do follow up appointments and I mean a lot of them I do look forward seeing these caring nurses. Thank you for bettering my dads life.
Wish it was different circumstances that afford us this view but Benny & I are doing the best we can. The hospital and the staff have been patient and caring. Couldn't ask for more. Here's to Bens speedy recovery..perhaps a simple act such as this post it may reach the universe and some healing powers will be bestowed upon Benny. That's my wish
